Due to our great
success at this years Grape and Wine Festival
with our Creole Scallops, here is the Recipe,
Enjoy!
1lb Fresh Alaska
Scallops(Frozen will do, but you notice a
different texture in the scallop)
1 Tbs of butter
1 small onion,
chopped
1 green pepper,
chopped
1 stalk of celery,
chopped
1 lb can of crushed
tomatoes
1 Package of your
favorite Hrb/Garlic Soup Mix(Lipton or Knorr)
Your Choice of Rice
Place butter,
onion, green pepper, and celery in a pan and
sauté until soft. Add can of tomatoes and
package of soup mix. Cover and simmer for about
7 to 10 minutes. Add scallops and cook until
scallops are firm, not hard. Serve over a bed
of rice. 2 servings.
For those of you
like me who like it hot, try a little hot sauce
with the scallops at the end. Let us know how
